Just Keep Knitting

Many of you know I took on an impressive list of people to do hand knitted gifts for this past Christmas season. A list that still has me working (on the final) present.

Yeah. You don't have to tell me. I took on too much.

Alas - here is the final, half (okay, okay quarter...) finished product!

I really love this pattern. It's a very interesting and not too hard pattern.

I cannot wait to see this finished and blocked. At this point though - I feel I'll never actually finish. I've hit a block in which I feel no matter how much I knit I am getting no where with it. In the words of Dory, "Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming." Or knitting. Swimming probably won't help much ;)

I'm linking up with Frontier Dreams today for KCCO. Check out the inspirations there!

  1. I love it - gorgeous! I've definitely had years where I bit off more than I can chew, too. This year I aimed for 1 handmade thing for each family member...definitely better than when I attempted sweaters for each one!

  2. When I reach a point like that, I cast on something small and new as a reward... then when I knit an inch or two on trudging project I can reward myself with an equal amount on the "fun" one. Sometimes, I get so wrapped up in making the trudging one that I actually get it finished.

Sometimes, I'm really gullible like that... lol.
